Carlo Gonzaga (Carlotti) > The whole day was spent on the side of the mountain. It was so steep that when we stopped it was easier to just lay the Big Dogs down against the mountin side! In any event the side stands wouldn't extend fully
Carlo Gonzaga (Carlotti) > This is a problem. Pulling a GS UP a hill is why roadside assistance was created. If only we had cell phone coverage.
Carlo Gonzaga (Carlotti) > Waiting for the crew to arrive.
Carlo Gonzaga (Carlotti) > The wide 'bars of the GS make ordinaryy trees look like potential insurance claims.
Carlo Gonzaga (Carlotti) > The route to the top. The difficulty lies in the sharp turns and angle of the mountain side. ie. not made for a Big Dog. I fell (previous pics) where the guy is standing.
Carlo Gonzaga (Carlotti) > That is unfortunately my bike. I was meant to go where the arrow is. What's deceiving here is that there is a drop off of about 1 meter where this guy is standing in the foreground. As you go over the bike bottoms out.
Carlo Gonzaga (Carlotti) > Having got the Dog upright I start the next stage! Knobblies are a must as everything is wet and slippery.
